SMS Terms.

Staffing agencies use the Staffing Referrals platform to text the people in their network: ambassadors who refer, candidates, and employees. These terms apply to every text program on our platform.

Who is texting you

The staffing agency named in the message is the sender. Texts come from that agency's number, or a recruiter's number, through our texting provider, TextUs. Staffing Referrals provides the software and does not text you for its own marketing.

What the texts are about

Depending on the agency's program, texts may:

• send your referral link;
• share referral updates or a reward you earned;
• share jobs that match what you told the agency;
• ask whether you know someone to refer;
• send a sign-in link you asked for;
• ask a short survey question.

Some agencies use an AI assistant to write and answer texts. The first message in an AI conversation says it is from an AI assistant. If you ask whether you're talking to a person, it will tell you it is AI.

Consent

Agreeing to texts is never a condition of a job, a placement, joining a referral program, or any purchase.

How often

Message frequency varies by program and by how you respond.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Neither we nor the agency charge you for texts.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message to stop texts from that agency. UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT also work. You may receive one final text confirming you've unsubscribed.

An opt-out covers the agency you replied to. To stop texts from another agency, reply STOP to that agency's texts as well. To start again, reply START.

If you are a referred candidate and you opt out, the agency's program may mark that referral as not eligible. That can affect the referrer's reward.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

We handle your number and messages as described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will post changes here and update the date above.
